is there a way to disable clicking for more than one action?

other than selection 'move only' which disables all clicks, it seems that going to the outer zones to change the click type only affects the next click. I am looking for something more persistant than that.

I would also be happy with changing the default from left-click to move-only and go offscreen to enable left-click again

any suggestions?
