Python programming language of the year 2008

Starting from 2007 the members of the "linuxquestions.org" website
vote for their favourite programming language of the year.

Python was the first on the list, collecting 26.25% of the voters with
rise of 4.47% from the year 2007 , right behind him C++, but he was
too far to be competitor by 14.98% with -1.94% drop from the last
year.

Python received the LinuxQuestions.org Members Awards for the second
year on the row.

So congratulations for Python, hoping that this will encourage our
community to be part of the success.
