Hi,

I'm the organiser for the Py Web SF meet-up (http://www.pywebsf.org).
There has been a lot of interest in Tornado, and so I figured I'd see
if any of the developers might be down for giving a talk. Next talk
is going to be December 8th.

Last month we had Ben Bangert talk about Pylons and that was awesome.

Would love to have someone speak about Tornado and of course I'll
cover you for beer afterwords!

Cheers,

-Niall

Niall: I am sure one of us can make it. Let me ask around among the other devs and get you a firm commitment, but consider this a tentative yes.

Hi Bret (and other Tornado Web developers on this list!),

Just following up on this.  Would you or one of the other Tornado Web devs be able to give a Py Web SF talk on Dec 8th?  It takes some time to advertise the event and let people know etc, so it would be great if you could confirm soon!

Thanks a lot.  People in the community are excited and would love to hear from you guys about the framework!

Hey Niall,

A little off-topic:
Do you post audio or video recordings of these talks ?

Hi Arek,

I experimented initially with audio and video recording, however the results were not very good quality.
I have always been able to get copies of the speakers slides for the website.  You can find links to the talk info (including slides) at http://www.pywebsf.org/category/talks/

-Niall.
