Alarm play from the last stop item .

Hi Buddies 

   I want to play from an existing  alarm queue, at a set time each day for a half hour.  The existing alarm queue  is set on repeat but i want to continue where it stopped on the previous day instead of play from begain on each day ... I saw  .soco.alarms.get_alarms & set_alarms APIs . But how could i can make the alarm start from last stop play item ? Anyone could give some advices ?  THANKS

Hi,

I am pretty sure the alarm can't do that. 

You could use Python to call the alarm and use snapshot to capture when the alarm stops and resume the queue. Examples: https://github.com/SoCo/SoCo/tree/master/examples/snapshot

If you still want to set the alarm in Sonos you could even have a specific track it plays, and listen in python for that track with a subscription and then start your queue with resume from the last snapshot.
