Only able to change groups while in partymode

Hi,

For a customer of mine i has 26 Sonos devices (1 x Play:5, 23 x Play:3, 2 x Play:1) most of them wireless (will probably get wired next year)

Sometimes players are automatically kicked out of groups and continue as standalone speakers (I want to replace these in a group but can't) 

I have 4 Logical groups for these players, and If I use the sonos App to place them in their groups, everything works fine. 

When I try to automate the grouping process I get:

The only way of adding everything to the right group is when all of them are in partymode, I unjoin the group coordinators from the partymode, and then I let the members join that coordinator.

I can however not create partymode myself. I have to use the Sonos App to do that.

I have tried unjoining all (having every speaker separate), tried using any of the speakers as partymode coordinator etc, nothing works.

Has anyone had this issue? Is there a workaround?

Update on this error, I have updated the controller to version 10.0 and now I can not even use join anymore when all speakers are in partymode... Unjoin still works.

Has anyone encountered anything like this?
