Examples of EXTRA_DATA for Facebook Friend Count

Hi everyone,

I am trying to wrap my head around how to get a count of facebook friends for a user when they log in. I know that I need to use EXTRA_DATA within a pipeline but I am still a little lost. Can anyone point me to an example of EXTRA_DATA making subsequent calls to get more information from a social network?
