Hi, my name is Brian and I am from Ontario Canada. I am a student
currently enrolled in an Alternative emery program here in Canada. I
am doing a project on photovoltaics. My section of the project is the
political end of photovoltaics. I really want to knock their(my class
mates) socks off when I do my 3 min/powerpoint slides. I figured you
guys would be perfect to point me in the right direction.

Thank you,

Brian

Sorry about the "repeat" I thought I could make the correction emery
to the correct ""energy"".
Thanks. I hope you guys don't mind pointing mecin the right direction.
My hopes is to one day be as skilled as you guys!

Thanks,

Brian

Hi Brian,

It sounds like you are doing an interesting course. I don't understand
exactly what you are asking help with though? This is a really small
google group for people that are interested in the technicalities of
forward ray-tracing in python. I am a Photovolatics researcher at
Imperial College and so this is a little side project of mine, that is
the result of my PhD studies. The only advice I can give you is to
check the briefing paper of the Grantham Institute for Climate Change,
try here, http://www.imperial.ac.uk/climatechange/publications .

Hope that helps!

Cheers,

Daniel

Nice to meet you Daniel and thank you for your time! After more
reading I can refine my question(s)., Why do you think personally
there is a needs for the government to subsidise the solar panel
industry? What do you think the "barrier" is when it comes to solar
efficiency

Hi Brian,

Here is a direct link to the briefing document, https://www8.imperial.ac.uk/content/dav/ad/workspaces/climatechange/pdfs/GranthamJune.pdf

This answers both your questions.

Cheers,

Dan
