Hi,

pyresample has been relased as open source:
http://code.google.com/p/pyresample/

pyresample is a Python package for resampling/reprojecting remote
sensing data.
It uses a kd-tree approach for nearest neighbour search and works on
numpy arrays (including masked arrays).
It is well documenteted and unit tested.
