Guys,

What do you call when you access a dict by its key like this

dict['key']

as opposed to dict.get('key')?

Key access?  Array access?  Index access?  Subscript access?  Square brackets access?  💥

to Lemuel, python-mena
Index? That's what it's called on an array, is, list, so I'd assume the same holds true for dict.
