Python in MENA, for MENA

Hi folks,

Some of you may know me as a Director for the Python Software Foundation or from PyCon North America.

I'm gathering examples of Python being used to do great, uniquely regional work. Do you have suggestions for cool, impactful projects that use Python in the MENA region, for the MENA region? They might, for example, be related to local conservation, culture, science, education, sports, or politics.
