Hey everyone,
I want to write a simple python script that takes a single measurement from my keysight scope, exports it to an Excel file, and repeats these steps a few times.
I would like to know if it's possible to control the configurations manually, by playing with the trigger etc on the scope itself, before executing my script.
would my configuration be saved throught the whole time in which the script runs?
Thank you so much,
Shir.

If your script does not reset the scope or change any of the settings you're planning on adjusting manually, then it should work fine.  One thing that I would recommend, though, is reading out the relevant settings from the scope and storing those as metadata along with the trace data, as you might want to be able to refer to those settings later on.
