python- gnupg encryption , guide in using a public key file to encrypt a file in python-gnupg

hey everyone,
I am new to this forum as well as cryptography, what i have my
problem is to encrypt a
file using python-gnupg. I am refering http://packages.python.org/python-gnupg/,
but i am unable to
encrypt a file using my public key, although i got successful in
encrypting a string data.
Please can someone help me out in this part.

thanks vinay, and i am able to encrypt so. Now problem is again i have
to use a public key generated using mcafee server version.How can i do
encrypt my file as i import the keyring in mine but unable to encrypt
my file.
