Hope ye all had a great Christmas season!

Going to kick off the 2013 sessions of the Galway Python group on
February 13th. As we have plenty of time in advance of it I'd like to
make a call for ideas on things to do at it and maybe some of the other
upcoming months? =)

Hi Carlos,

If you're starting Python from the beginning, there are some classes
starting in 091 Labs this week. More info can be found on the 091 Labs
website[0], and the signup page here[1]. It's 2 hours per week for 4
weeks, and you should have a decent understanding of Python by the end
of it. There are 3 streams, 2 of which have already started (they're
on Tuesdays), and the final one begins this Saturday.

Okay. The Townhouse has turned out to be closed. This was unexpected =/ I'm currently sitting in 091 Labs in it's new(ish) Flood Street location so if people are around and still want to meet, pop down there and then we'll Salthouse or Bar 8 it or something!

I was waiting in front of the Townhouse for a while but left since nobody showed up. Hopefully we have more luck next time.

In the meantime, does anyone know about other opportunities to talk/do programming related stuff in Galway? I see you have a regular python workgroup every Monday. What's going on there?
