Orcaflex with Python

Hello all,

I work with a engeneering software called OrcaFlex, used for offshore sector. A new version of this software 9.7 allows interface with Python programme. So, I am improving a little, but I would like to understand how I can connect the results obtained in OrcaFlex using Python and report the results in a excel file.

I would like to know if someone know how this work,

Well a good place to start would be the ExternalFunction example
programs found here:

http://www.orcina.com/Support/index.php

In particular look at the PDF in the zip file. The examples and PDF will
show you how to get information out of OrcaFlex. Then it is a matter of
using xlwt to write that information out to a spreadsheet. To get more
specific help will require a more specific definition of what you are
trying to do.
