I've read somewhere in google that it is possible to create an Excel
Add-in with Iron Python.

If I understand this well, it means that I can create a new funtion
for Excel using Python. is this correct? if the answer is YES, then I
find it very interesting, and I would like to learn how to do it.

Where could I find a little bit of documentation?
Is IronPython somehow different from pyton?

Best regards

Can't speak to IronPython, but you can use python.org's "native"
Python in Excel via:

code.google.com/p/pyinex

Should be straightforward to install and use (it comes with examples).

I am working on the next release, which should be out in a few weeks,
and which will come with the source code.

Hope that helps.
