i can c that the group has a low activity and i think i have an idea
to refresh all of ya :
we need to make a project or subscribe an existing one right ?
if we wanna make a project and that is the line of thinking i support
then i have some idea about a fast and expendable projects :
1- a usplash make :
i haven't found any program to do that i have suffred of makeing the
images and resize to all available parts and the compile it the
install , it's a real pain for user then , that's aour 1st option .

2- a Image 2 XHTML program :
and all a found about this function is what gimp do to slice the image
with the guidelines but the real need is what fireworks do on windows
platform , that u can make a real parts of image to be together not to
slice all the image vertically and horizontally , if we want we can
expand it to be a web graphics program with a raster image editor and
a vector pathes editor , just like fireworks :)

, i'm new member here so i want to have reactions or i'll be so SAD ;(

Ok, it's really nice of you to introduce some projects ideas, and hope that the members here will be interested in that.
As for me, I am currently working on a Web based application using Python and Cherrypy

Hi All

I know that the group is in low activity mode, but I will be honest
with you all. I joined the group and I have a primitive knowledge
about Python/Jython. But now I got good knowledge.

So it is time to get real active and thanks to blaz boy ;). Well, I
have two ideas for managing project proposals:

1) For each idea of a project we make a poll and see how many of the
group members are interested. And accordingly the project is started
or not.

2) If anyone of team members is already working on a project he/she
can send info about it to share experience and knowledge and to ask
for help if needed.

This way we can create an active group trying to spread knowledge
about Python/Jython.

ok  , but i think we need a blog to get a pool with a good look,
then post our news to this blog and restricts the pool to the group members
OR , another way to make a pool, (YAHOO GROUPS)

if we are agred to the first idea (BLOG) then i think the google group creator have to make a blog for us :)
