IPython available at bira/iasb

Dear Python users at bira-iasb,

just to inform you that, as of the last few days, IPython is
available on the bira-iasb servers.

If you haven't tried IPython yet, I can really suggest giving it a
try: it is a (much) improved interactive python shell, allowing, for
example, to use as you would use matlab, with interactive plotting
using matplotlib. more at http://ipython.org/

I can add to this as advice that starting ipython with pylab option
permits you to use mathplotlib, scipy and numpy directly with no imports.

ipython --pylab

And as notebook it is handy too. For demonstration as an example.

ipython notebook --pylab=inline
