I really liked working with you all, and I personally learnt
a lot and also enjoyed working on the project for most of the time. However, in recent months (and actually also
a bit longer than that) other topics needed and continue to demand more attention. And my personal main goal for which I joined the collaboration is somewhat fulfilled: python-can today is much more consistent and reliable than it was back in 2017 (and it certainly suits
our needs). I think that the current way of development is arguably more sustainable than 4-5 years ago. And now that 4.0.0 is released and people are not angrily filling the issue section on GitHub after it :P, I think this is a good point in time. If you want to write/video chat about general issues (which interfaces/file formats are worth including or should be removed if unused, requirements for new code, extension of the scope to stuff like ISO-TP, ...), feel free to ping me and I'll try to participate.
I want to thank you all for the great time.
