Very well organized, it was the third edition in Florence, a lot of people,
large talk schedule in different threads so that you could create your own
personal schedule, and some main talks specially in the first day.
Food was great. Drinks as well. There was an accompaning red wine called
PyWine that made harder to keep attention after lunch... :) and also a lot of
hangout events after the conference.
It's hard to highlight important topics because there were a lot. But Python 3
vs Python 2 was present along the week in many conversations in different
degrees. Testing and packaging was an important topic too, and Postgres above
any other database due to its Python support.
I missed a few things: a talk on the upcoming async loop event implementation
in the std lib (this was a big lack), also specific talks on coroutines
(although there were many mentions here and there, like in Erik and Jeroen
talk on Camelot), and talks about Buildbot.
