Hi, I'm trying to make it work with a Suunto Movestick.
Here is what I have in dmesg:

[ 2424.344207] usb 1-1.2: new full-speed USB device number 6 using dwc_otg

[ 2424.453039] usb 1-1.2: New USB device found, idVendor=0fcf, idProduct=1008

[ 2424.453075] usb 1-1.2: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3

[ 2424.453092] usb 1-1.2: Product: Movestick mini

[ 2424.453107] usb 1-1.2: Manufacturer: Suunto

[ 2424.453120] usb 1-1.2: SerialNumber: 1136801035

What should I put in the SERIAL variable ? I have no /dev/tty/USB0

Thanks!

Laurent

You should create a rule in /etc/udev/rules.d directory. For example

$ sudo vi /etc/udev/rules.d/suunto.rules

SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="0fcf", ATTRS{idProduct}=="1008", RUN+="/sbin/modprobe usbserial vendor=0x0fcf product=0x1008", MODE="0666", OWNER="{YOUR_USER_NAME}", GROUP="{YOUR_GROUP}"

Then insert your suunto stick in the USB port. You should have /dev/ttyUSB0 now
