Ordinal logistic regression / proportional odds ordinal regression

Is it possible to do an ordinal logistic regression (proportional odds ordinal regression) in statsmodels?
I have not been able to find anything in the docu.

I think not, I'm not sure what this is.

maybe https://github.com/statsmodels/statsmodels/issues/807

if it's just ordered Logit with parameter restrictions, then we don't
have it, but it's on the wishlist.
Greene's textbook is the only reference I looked at for it.

Yep, I am pretty sure that's it. Since it is already on the issue list for statsmodels, I guess we just go on from there.

I opened issue 807 when his blog post hit planet scipy, but the
address seems to have changed.

The issue is currently only a reminder to look at this.
