I'm not on an ipython list, and google doesn't help.

I was updating a notebook, Chrome crashed/died. Changes are gone, even though notebook kernel is still running.

Is there a way to access the autosaved version?
I don't find any autosave files on my computer and no information about their location on the internet.

Thanks,

Josef

That doesn't have the edits anymore, but I didn't check right after restarting after the crash, only one day later.

Thanks,

Josef

Do you have the ".ipynb_checkpoints" hidden directory in your notebook root folder?  I do not know if the restore is automatic or no, but it should be there.

Oh, my mistake, the checkpoints are in a different python version.
I switched for these examples to a python version that has only ipython 0.13 installed, I just realized.
