Hi everyone,

I started to organize a Ruby workshop for women who don't have any programming experience, and after that, by coincidence, I learned about this group! I was very happy to find out about this! I was wondering if any of you knew about similar groups for other languages? And also, if it would be ok if I'd reuse some of the material and ideas from this group, and would use the name RubyStar?

Let me know what you think! Any hints and tipps would be very much appreciated as well.

I'm in Oslo, Norway, by the way. Check out the announcement of the workshop on meetup: http://www.meetup.com/hackeriet/events/48621922/

Best regards,
Ellen

Just found out about this group, so sorry for the late response to this post, but wanted to share this for any future readers. I actually found out about PyStar after some Ruby friends of mine organized a RailsBridge event, which seems to be the Ruby analogue to PyStar: http://workshops.railsbridge.org/

Hope that helps, looking forward to learning more about PyStar!
