[PySide] QtGui: No such file or directory

Hi,

I am following this tutorial http://lynxline.com/superhybrids-part-2-now-qt-pyside/ on Ubuntu.

but when I want to create the lib. the Error happens.

zikey@ubuntu:~/workspace/pyside/HybridApp/hybrid$ qmake

zikey@ubuntu:~/workspace/pyside/HybridApp/hybrid$ make

g++ -c -pipe -O2 -D_REENTRANT -Wall -W -fPIC -DQT_NO_DEBUG -DQT_GUI_LIB -DQT_CORE_LIB -I/usr/share/qt4/mkspecs/linux-g++ -I. -I/usr/include/qt4/QtCore -I/usr/include/qt4/QtGui -I/usr/include/qt4 -I. -Ibuild -o build/MainWindow.o MainWindow.cpp

MainWindow.cpp:1: fatal error: QtGui: No such file or directory

compilation terminated.

make: *** [build/MainWindow.o] Error 1

Does anybody know how to fix?

Try this one, http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/Building_PySide_on_Linux . I spent some time cleaning it up.

Hi Steven,

You need add QtGui library in your .pro file. You can do that adding
this line "QT += core gui" on your .pro file.

Hi steven,,

Ok then, check if you have this directory on your computer:
/usr/include/qt4/QtGui
And if you are using Ubuntu make sure you have: libqt4-dev installed.
