Hi Team

I've been getting this response when running simple script today.

"Remote server is not connected. Please reinitialize or disconnect the remote interpreter"

Any clues?

This may happen if for some reason the remote python engine crashes.  Could you please provide some more details:

• which version of python and Pyscripter are you using?
• what is the "simple script" you are running?

Unfortunately I am still getting the same problem today.

I'm using:

Python - 3.8.2

Pyscripter - 3.6.3.0

It doesn't matter which program I try to run from basis "Hello World" to something more complex, same abort message.

Could you please check this.

Tools, Options, IDE Options, Python Interpreter, Always use sockets:  Is the option checked?

I also noticed that you are using Python 3.8.2.  I haven't done much testing with this latest version.   I will do now.

Thanks for helping me. If I could spend as much time on learning as I do on fixing problems. I'd be a paid programmer already.

I looked for the Always use sockets and found it was set to True.

Tested with python 3.8.2 and seems to be working smoothly.  Was PyScripter working Ok, and then after a while you started getting this error?  Any clues about what might be the cause of the problems.  (e.g. change in system configuration, security settings etc.).

I'm not really sure where this problem stems from. I've deleted all Py from my system and re-installed. So far it appears to be fine. Perhaps a conflict. It seemed to be better once I removed Anaconda?
