As the subject implies, how can I kill a running program in
PyScripter? What frequently happens "all the time", is whenever I am
working on a particular .PY file for a program I'm writing, if I run
into a syntax and/or functional error after running my program, and
then proceed to make a change to the code, then simply run the program
again, the same syntax and/or functional simply pops-up again like I
did nothing. I find that "only" if I shut down the whole PyScripter
program, then start it back up again, and then run my program again,
only after following this procedure am I able to regularly check on
the current condition of my program. This is "extremely" bothersome
and time consuming to keep having to shutdown and execute PyScripter
over and over again. So again, how can I avoid having to do this? I
need to be able to stay in the editor environment.
Running "graphics" module programs are especially annoying because if
the program I run crashes, PyScripter will not allow me to close the
graphics window to terminate the running program. I have to follow the
same annoying shutdown and restart procedure for PyScripter.
What can I do?
