Hi,

      Actually, is it possible to change the path for both config files ? Here is my problem : In my school, I've install Pyscripter for all students in C:\EduPython but when a student open a new session, he sees the files of de previous student if the tabs were not closed.

     Student have a personal drive H:\, so it will be great if I can write in pyscripter.ini for example :

PATHINI = D:\

if the file D:\pyscriter.ini exists, Pyscripter load this file else it load the default file. When quitting PyScripter, the new config is written on D:\pyscriter.ini (I hope my english is  quite understandable!)

Thanks in advance !

Regards,

PyScripter

There are two PyScripter setups.

a) Registered version
b) Registry-free version

In option (a) all configuration files are saved in the user directory %APPDATA%\Pyscripter.  If a users log with their user account they should see different open files and settings.  In this setup there is also File Explorer integration.
In option (b) the ini files are stored in the same directory as PyScripter.exe.  All users use the same ini files.

You can convert (b) into (a) by simply deleting the ini files in the PyScripter directory.
