I have seen multiple threads pertaining to this, but none of the solutions have worked thus far.  I just recently uninstalled/reinstalled Python 2.7.14, and subsequently PyScripter would no longer open, so I uninstalled/reinstalled that as well.  I installed PyScripter v3.4.1.  I can open a python script in PyScripter, but every time the software opens, I get the error message shown in the attachment.

Whenever I click OK in that window, it opens up the Python Versions window.  I click the add button and navigate to my C:\Python27 folder and click OK, but nothing happens.

I located my python27.dll file in my system folder and copy/pasted it into my C:\Python27 folder, but that didn't help.  This was one of the recommended fixes.

Prior to uninstalling PyScripter, I could navigate to Start > All Programs > PyScripter, and I would see a "PyScripter 2.7" shortcut, but now all I see is "PyScripter (Latest Python Version)" shortcut.  It doesn't seem to recognize my installation of 2.7, which I downloaded from python.org

Did you press the Activate button (first one) after adding the python version?
