problem running example from docs

Hi,
I've copy pased the example from the documentation which has messages
pack/unpack methods and it fails to run.
From investigation it I found out that pack is being called twice and
unpack only once.
Because of that json object is not reconstructed.

Can you please advice on why the message pack method being called
twice?

Is this the example you tried? It worked fine for me. Did you use
the download area for the source? You may want to download the source
from google code to ensure you have the latest code. To be sure, I
uploaded a new version to pypi.
