Hi,

Does anyone here have experience with old SnapGear hardware? I have a
ReefEdge 25 that looks much like an OEM Soekris 4801 or 4826 board.
But it definitely won't boot anything but the firmware that shipped
with it. It looks like the documentation for this hardware's all but
dried up now that McAfee owns them. I've managed to find a recent copy
of their firmware and tool chain, however, at ftp.snapgear.org. But
trying to compile fails as I'm assuming Soekris defaults for the
kernel config. Is this incorrect? I'm sorry if this is not the ideal
place to inquire about this but I thought some of you may have some
inkling of familiarity with this.
