Ubuntu Install Errors

I can't install pyraknet in my Ubuntu 7.04 machine. setup.py install
brings up errors in compiling pyraknet.cpp.

I think it has something to do with this:
error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1

It says 'gcc' failed but isn't it supposed to be compiled with g++?

Ok... That sounded really silly (the gcc thing XD) but I still can't
figure out what to do.

I think I know where the problem is now... I think I'm missing the
Python sources XD
