orthoslice of 3D GLGraphicsItem

Hey, I have 2 3D datasets that I can register manually and I wondered if there is an option to generate a new window (which is not the issue) where an orthoslice of both datasets can be plotted (that is the problem).

I dont want the original data to be plotted but the transformed graphicsitem.

is it possible?

I'm not sure I understand your question. You just want to have the otho slices displayed in another window? I can think of another pyqtgraph app that does similar: ccfviewer[1]. In particular, I imagine something to do with AtlasSliceView.update_slice_image might be what you're looking for.
