3D bar plot in pyqtgraph?

Hi,
I have recently started to use pyqtgraph for my work. I was wondering if there was something that could plot histograms in 3D like bar3 in MATLAB or mplot3d in matplotlib.

Well there is pyqtgraph.opengl.GLBarGraphItem (and a corresponding example), but you'll need to compute the histogram manually.
