Plotting a Matrix of Colors

Hi PyQTgraph community,

I'm looking at some way of plotting a matrix of colors, such that when i hover/click a particular cell, i get the coordinates of the cell.

I looked at heatmaps but i'm not sure if they're interactable like the way i want. Should i create a table and fill color is cells?
