Hierarchical list of functions?

I'm somewhat confused on what objects contain other objects.  You have the ViewBox and PlotWidget and GraphicsView and PlotDataItem and I don't understand the relationship between these.

Is there a hierarchical chart that shows what is supposed to contain what?  

What is supposed to contain an image?  A plot?  One plot over another?

Is there anything that makes this clearer?

Is this the most active forum for pyqtgraph or is there another one?
