PyQtGraph supports Qt6 (except for PyQt 6.0.0, we support PyQt 6.0.1+).
We will be dropping support for Qt 6.0 once 6.1 is released for a variety of reasons, but we don't anticipate that impacting many people (I can't imagine who would want to use Qt 6.0 vs. 6.1). Qt 6.0 is missing some modules that Qt 5.15 has (like Qt Multimedia). I've noticed Qt6's handling of hidpi monitors on Windows work a bit better.
Your decision to use Qt5 vs. Qt6 should probably reflect your needs outside of pyqtgraph. From pyqtgraph's perspective we expect both libraries to work the same. For my personal projects, I use Qt 5.15.2 (but will likely migrate to Qt6 once 6.1 or 6.2 is released).
Hope that helps!
