Incompatibility between "OpenGL=True" and "fill level" under the plot curve

Hi,
I am using the option:
pg.setConfigOptions(useOpenGL=True)

to solve the extreme slow down of plots with curvePen width larger than 1, as explained by Luke here:
https://github.com/pyqtgraph/pyqtgraph/issues/533

However, as you can see in the picture below, the "fill level" option is not compatible with openGL=true.

Any suggestion?
