3D Scatter plot

Hi , 

   I have a 3 dimensional data eg (x,y,z)  i need to plot them in a 3d scatter plot. 

Following the examples it is easy to plot the 3d points. But the g = gl.GLGridItem() is not working on the window where i use the gl.GLScatterPlotItem(). 

So i am not able to understand the points which are plotted . It would be helpful if this could be fixed  so i have a reference on which i plot the 3d data

p.s i am a relative newbie to pyqtgraph
