Merged Release v0.8.0 of PyPSA-Eur and PyPSA-Eur-Sec

Dear PyPSA community,

We did it! We've just released version 0.8.0 of PyPSA-Eur,

which merges the electricity-only PyPSA-Eur workflow and the sector-coupled workflow PyPSA-Eur-Sec (v0.7.0)!

Important things first:

You can continue to run electricity-only and sector-coupled studies as before.

Check out the new documentation for instructions:

The merged release also switches the optimisation interface to `linopy`, which means that your extra_functionality constraints need to be adjusted.
