[pypsa-eur] Snakemake issue: FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'results/networks/elec_s_6_ec_lcopt_Co2L-24H.nc'

Hello everyone,

I am very new to pypsa and sakemake so there might be a very obvious solution to my problem but after a lot of research, I still cannot figure it out.

I have a freshly installed pypsa-eur (version 0.8.0). When I run the electricity-only tutorial with the command

• snakemake -call --configfile test/config.electricity.yaml results/networks/elec_s_6_ec_lcopt_Co2L-24H.nc

I get this error:

• FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'results/networks/elec_s_6_ec_lcopt_Co2L-24H.nc'
  

I thought it is a windows related snakemake problem, at first. So I installed WLS, but there I get the same error.

Hi Julius,

Thanks for your question! That might be an oversight in the recently updated documentation with regards to the ordering of arguments.

Try

snakemake -call results/test-elec/networks/elec_s_6_ec_lvopt_Co2L-24H.nc -n --configfile test/config.electricity.yaml

I'll fix the documentation.
