Hi all,

I'm new to programming. I have been able to create a more or less usable application as a part of my thesis research using Processing. However, I am not very happy with the graphical interface for the application. I've been using controlP5 which lets me accomplish almost everything. However, I still would rather wrap a traditional UI around my 3D sketch and have menus drive my interactions. I was hoping there is a way to use Qt to do this. I haven't really found too much information about this on the java side (java implementation of qt doesn't seem too active). So I thought there might be some advice on the Python port. I was also wondering if there is a way to get Processing libraries (like proscene, dxf, pdf, and gsvideo) to work in pyprocessing.

Thanks,
Ali

If you want to keep working in the Processing ecosystem, I suggest you try a Jython version of Processing. One that I am aware of is Processing.py. See https://github.com/jdf/processing.py
