It's worth calling out that it is now possible to get packages like NumPy working with this release. But the mechanism used for doing so ("files mode") effectively disables a lot of the advantages of PyOxidizer (single file executables, loading resources from memory). I consider "files mode" to be a minimum viable product/feature at this stage. Look for improvements (such as the ability to leverage "files mode" with a single file executable) in future releases. In the meantime, hopefully the new package compatibility results in more people taking an interest in PyOxidizer.
