Goodanalogue outboard gear is a pleasure to use and Klark Teknik has been making some of the best examples of it for 30 years. As a result the brand has become one of the most trusted names in professional audio, and its once ubiquitous DN360 analogue graphic EQ is like an old friend in the front-of-house rack.

Even though heavy racks of outboard gear are largely being replaced by the almost unlimited processing power of digital mixing consoles, there are still plenty of situations where an external analogue compressor and/or gate will achieve a better result. In the case of the new analogue Klark Teknik DN530 Creative Quad Gate and the DN540 Creative Quad Comp, they also provide audio enhancement not available in the digital realm.

The Cal Poly Pomona music technology lab houses 24 iMac workstations, each equipped with an audio interface, microphone, digital keyboard, and Ableton Push 2 controller. Additionally, each workstation is loaded with up-to-date versions of Ableton Live Suite, Pro Tools, and Sibelius, as well as other selected audio software. The lab is open during regular weekly hours to all students who have enrolled in at least one music technology class (e.g. MU 1080, MU 2281, etc.).

The Cal Poly Pomona Department of Music houses an audio recording studio complex that doubles as classrooms for music recording coursework. This complex consists of two recording labs, Studios A & B. The Music Department maintains these professional-quality studios as pedagogical tools so that students may obtain the same experiences as they would throughout the music and entertainment industries.

In addition to Studios A and B, the department has the capability to complete professional-quality multi-track recordings in the recital hall using an installed ProTools system. The resulting multi-track recording can later be mixed and mastered in Studio A or B.

As part of its comprehensive approach to music education, the Cal Poly Pomona Department of Music offers a series of courses to provide students with a foundation in the recording arts. These courses include:

I continue to have trouble with a "pop" sound every time I start playing a video (youtube, etc.), anytime that I change the volume, and also during most Windows alerts. It's driving me up a wall. It also happens any time that I skip to a different point in a video (youtube, etc.).

I RIGHT click on it and choose "Disable Device". As soon as I do that, NO MORE POPPING SOUNDS. However, the audio is not quite as rich (it's good sound, but not as good as when it is enabled--but the popping sound just drives me nuts).

Thanks Xavier! Tell your boss to give you a raise. Your solution worked great. In the past I have always used the generic drivers from Intel (since they are updated much more frequently than the HP drivers)---turn out that's not a good idea with this computer.

2. Go the Device Manger, RIGHT click on HD 620 under display drivers and choose "uninstall", then in the box that pops up put a check in the box for "delete all drivers for this device". If you get a message that you're about to install drivers older than the current drivers, choose YES/install/OK. Whenit's finished and it asks to reboot, choose LATER.

3. Still in Device Manager, under System Devices, RIGHT click on Intel Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R( SST) Audio Controller and choose "uninstall", then in the box that pops up put a check in the box for "delete all drivers for this device".

Qualcomm aptX HD was designed to answer the growing demand for high resolution audio. This enhanced codec supports 24-bit music quality over Bluetooth. This means listeners can hear even the smallest details in their music.

If you have a question or concern about the authenticity of an aptX or Snapdragon Sound enabled device, please email brandpr...@qualcomm.com. Include brand, model, and purchase information so we can best evaluate the products.

The Klark Teknik DN9650 Network Bridge allows all MIDAS digital consoles and MIDAS digital I/O hardware, KLARK TEKNIK DN9696 High Resolution Audio Recorders and many other AES50 devices to connect to many different multi channel digital audio networks simply and reliably.

The DN9652 dual network bridge has been designed to allow 2 dissimilar digital audio networks to interface simply and reliably. The KLARK TEKNIK technology allows the interfacing of up to 64 bidirectional channels between 2 independently clocked domains that are also able to operate at different sample rates.

Klark Teknik is a company that designs and develops professional signal processing and audio equipment. Located in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, UK, the company was founded in 1974 by brothers Terence and Phillip Clarke. It developed a number of new types of equipment in the audio field, winning a Queen's Awards for Enterprise in 1986. It is now owned by Music Tribe.

Terry also started to develop signal processing hardware including compressor/limiters and small graphic equalisers. These were produced in very low quantities and sold to (mostly local) recording studios to complement the relatively simple audio mixing console of the day. The graphic equalisers developed during 1973 onwards were called Teknik 7S and 9S, with seven and nine bands respectively, plus a stereo 11+11S with eleven bands of EQ.

In 1980 the company moved to its current purpose built premises at Walter Nash Road, Kidderminster. Up until this point the business had been run out of an old Nissen hut in a back corner of the Summerfield MOD solid fuel rocket motor factory with only 15 employees.

Klark Teknik purchased Midas Audio Systems Ltd in 1987. In 1992, the Clarke brothers sold Klark Teknik Group to Mark IV Audio. Two years later, Terry Clarke went on to set up MC2 Audio Ltd with co-founder Ian McCarthy, producing high quality power amplifiers for the commercial market.

In 1998, Mark IV Audio sold their holdings of EVI Audio (owners of Klark Teknik) and Telex Communications to venture capitalists Greenwich Street Partners, who merged the companies into a single corporation called Telex Communications. On 1 September 2006, Greenwich sold Telex Communications to the Bosch Group. In December 2009, Midas and Klark Teknik were acquired by Music Group, a holding company chaired by Uli Behringer. The parent company has since been rebranded as Music Tribe.[1][2]

Audiotechnology is a family-owned company founded by Ejvind Skaaning and Per Skaaning. Our production facilities are situated in Stilling, Denmark. Ejvind Skaaning was the guiding force behind several loudspeaker companies in Denmark; among the most prominent are Scan-Speak and Dynaudio corporations, both founded by Mr. Skaaning.

All Flexunits and C-Quenze drivers are handcrafted. Voice coils and P/P cone profiles are developed, as well as produced in house, giving us control over the quality of the drivers. Audiotechnology does all assembling, and every driver is subject to extensive control and performance measurements.
