Hi.

I am interested to develop a code who uses PYOMO or PULP.

I Have some questions and I Will be very grateful if you can help me.

  • Does PulP have a restriction in the number of linear constraint or integer variables?
  • If I have a problem with many constraints or integer variables, Have I to buy a solver like CPLEX or Gurobi?

I really thank you for your time.

Pyomo does not limit the number of constraints or variables.  There are many solvers that you can use with Pyomo in addition to CPLEX and Gurobi.

As far as I know, CPLEX only has commercial licenses, so you would have to buy it for solving small or large models. A free alternative for MIP problems is GLPK solver.
