SCIP in couenne installation

Hi,
I am trying to install couenne using the steps given in https://github.com/coin-or/Couenne
After running ../configure -C, it crashes with the following error:

After running ../configure -C, it crashes with the following error:
checking if library version is set... no
checking SCIP version... 500.0
configure: error: "Incorrect SCIP version. This build system is made for SCIP 5.0.x"
configure: error: /bin/bash '../../../ThirdParty/SCIP/configure' failed for ThirdParty/SCIP
For installing SCIP, I have installed version 5.0.0, and I have also tried 5.0.1, but for both configuring the couenne project fails with the above-mentioned error. Can someone help?

You can get couenne from here: https://ampl.com/products/solvers/open-source/
just download the solver and add its path to your path variables and it should work.
