Pyomo Design Discussion Issues

Hi all,

 

In an effort to reduce the number of open issues we’re carrying around on Github, I’d like to propose archiving old design discussions on a Wiki page and closing their related issues. A proposed format for this page can be found here: https://github.com/Pyomo/pyomo/wiki/Archived-Design-Discussions

 

The idea would be to use the wiki to archive, categorize, and summarize the design discussion and add a link to the closed issue. The issues could easily be reopened if there is renewed interest in them.

 

Any thoughts or objections?
