Hi!
I am using Pyneb red.corr to correct for dust extinction in star-forming galaxy emission lines. Is there a way to implement the Calzetti dust extinction law or an equivalent law in Pyneb?
Thank you in advance!

Hi Gabriela,
Could you provide a reference of the extinction law you are refering to (and also for the equivalet laws)?
Thanks a lot,
Ch. Morisset

I was referring to Calzetti et al 2000 ApJ533 682 (DOI 10.1086/308692) or if there is already a law in pyneb redcorr that I can use for star-forming galaxies.
Thank you!

Hi Gabriela,
I just released a new version of PyNeb (1.1.22) that includes Calzetti 2002 extinction laws under the reference "Cal00".
Please take time to check that it gives the results you are expecting before extensively use it, and report any doubt.
