Hello,

I'm writing to ask if there is any possibility of hosting the most recent version of PyNE on PyPI. I am attempting to use the TARDIS software package, which makes extensive use of PyNE, on a remote server which explicitly forbids use of conda. I have attempted to build via pip from the github, from source, etc., with no luck. It would be greatly appreciated if an updated version of the software was on PyPI!

Cheers,

Hi Nicholas,

(resending to include list)

I think we can definitely look into this. We are very close to having a working version of PyNE under conda-forge.  Looking quickly at TARDIS, that might actually help you, too, but if not, we are interested in exploring the use of conda-press to automatically (?) make wheels for PyPI out of conda-forge packages...

stay tuned.

Paul

I am having the exact same problem and would greatly appreciate it if PyNE (ver 0.5.11) could be made available on PyPI so that it could be installed using pip.
