Issues Installing pyNE

Hello,

I have tried to install pyNE via both VirtualBox and Conda.  I am getting errors with both.  Attached are the errors that I get with both.

The first two are from VirtualBox and the second is the command screen from Conda.

Hello Michael,

 

Thanks for your email about installing PyNE.  Unfortunately, our support for OSX has fallen behind our support for Linux. 

 

I’ll have to investigate why that is and see if there is an easy way to remedy it.

Hello,

I am teaching a course this semester for our NE students to introduce them to the use of Python for nuclear applications. A couple of our students have run into installation issues and I wanted to follow up on some earlier correspondence regarding a similar issue from this summer (see quoted text below).
