Hello,

I’m trying to install pyne for use getting nuclear data in the Python API; like isotopic abundances. I have failed to install it via conda and get a similar message as in this issue:

https://github.com/pyne/pyne/issues/1483

I noticed there was a PR that was supposed to close this issue: https://github.com/pyne/pyne/pull/1500 ; but that seems like it was never merged and turned into the PR: https://github.com/pyne/pyne/pull/1549 which has not yet been merged.

Are there recommendations other than source install to get Pyne on my system? Conda would be very convenient for me because I am building my own reproducible science analysis in a GitHub repository. If I can install via conda (or pip or similar) I could include it in an environment.yml file and have users simply clone the conda environment to run all the code.

Cheers,

Anthony
